Phthalates

This term refers to a group of substances, some of which are safe for use and others considered potentially risky. Pthalates that pose a health risk are banned for use in the US and EU (the pthalates known as DEHP, DBP, DIBP, and BBP) – these were more used for industrial purposes and not cosmetic products.
