Pocky is a chocolate and biscuit brand from Japan, known for their long, chocolate dipped biscuit sticks. The brand was launched in 1966 by the Japanese confectionary company, Ezaki Glico Co. Ltd., with each Pocky biscuit stick hand dipped in chocolate with one end left plain. The name Pocky comes from the sound that’s made when the biscuits are broken or bit into. Pocky quickly became a much-loved chocolate snack thanks to the ease of eating and the ability to be shared with lots of people. Over the years, Pocky developed a range of different flavours and varieties including almond, strawberry, cookies and cream, matcha green tea, and chocolate banana.
