The Fry Family Food Co. is the world’s biggest producer of vegan products. They are mainly known for their plant-based meat alternatives to burgers, sausages, seafood, mince, and nuggets. Fry’s was launched in South Africa by Wally and Debbie Fry, a couple who wanted to try and create alternatives to meat for their own family to eat. Just one year later the Fry’s brand went commercial, and in the year 2000 it came to Australia. The company is passionate about animal welfare and providing protein rich foods for vegans and vegetarians. Their products are 100% plant-based, with no antibiotics, hormones, harmful additives, or GM ingredients.
