Do you reach for energy drinks when you’re tired? You really shouldn’t. Frequent consumption of energy drinks can cause dehydration, insomnia, headaches, insulin resistance, increased heart rate and increased blood pressure. Such drinks should not be consumed by children and adolescents especially, as they can cause disturbances in the development of the nervous system. Those are probably enough reasons to put Red Bull back on the shelf.
